I got the first of three modules for my new HOn30 layout. sweeet. this is a portable display layout for traveling to shows as far as the IRS is concerned but for me its MY railroad. I spent the whole night printing out the footprints of our new kits and fitting them to the track plan.

Applause for the great job done by Jim Gore. He has had a great impact on the kit and everyone who builds this will benifit greatly from his hard work. enough words. heres the pix.

It seems that postal deliveries have gotten worse. we are getting at least one lost order a month and sometime much more. This is depressing since many people assume we are ripping them off and begin threatening actions when they haven't bothered to contact us to let us know they haven't gotten their order. We keep printed records of every order that goes out. additionally Paypal keeps records of all orders received. there have been instances where paypal has the wrong or incomplete address and they still are not calculating international postage.
If you are waiting more than 3 weeks for an order please do contact us.
Since this is still a small part time endeavor, it's not unusual for an order to sit unfilled for a week subject to my own mobility or work load (recent blizzards and car problems). However more that three weeks delay just doesn't happen.
for those who have been patient and understanding thank you we will keep designing and offering kool kits at fair prices.

Hi all. I hope you have been enjoying the pix of the engine house project being test built by Jim Gore. I understand he is nearing completion and I should be able to post the finished results very soon. I wanted to give an up date on the CD DVD project. One of the key elements of the project is that the images need to be in PDF format. Thats because any computer can open them and send them to any printer. Our tests have been a great success and people who are working with these files are getting great results on several different printers. In general there can be small color shifts but these are easily adjusted or barely noticeable. At this time the only hold up is the interface. We could go with a raw library approach where you would just look at a thumbnail then go into a folder and open the image and print it but what i would like is something more interactive where folks can just see an interactive catalogue, click on a picture and click on a print button. So far every test I've done has not successfully linked with the high res PDF files. If we could settle for lesser resolution there would not be a problem but of course we can't settle for less resolution. The delay hurts us all, the product is ready to go but for this one glitch.
We are getting closer and if i cant solve this in the next week or two we will likely put together non interactive libraries for the time being.
about the engine house. We will be offering it as a stand alone disk in O and HO scale. It will also come with a bonus water tower kit (just like the one in every G&D photo I've ever seen) All of the raw textures and a large number of construction photos. The final price will be $39.00 regardless of scale. As such it is a huge value and a very challenging kit for the experienced craftsman.

Mr. Jim Gore is burning up the #11 blades on this kit. I just want to share a couple of more pix to show his progress.
Diverting a bit from the original, Jim requested doors so i worked up a set.
i must say they look very nice. In the same spirit i have worked
up a new set of round exhaust stacks. the original of course had square
ones and both styles will come in the kit. Jim says he's moving on to
the roof next. I can hardly wait.
