Tuesday, February 27, 2007, 02:48 PM

Here's a quick pix of what I hope will be a useful and inexpensive kit. The text on the sign is not final. there will be a blank sign or we may offer customization for a small additional cost.

Finished models
Tuesday, February 27, 2007, 02:20 PM
I was able to get the new depot model finished and kitted up so it will be available very soon. This kit is very detailed with all the usual optins for adding distress The first release will be available in the ligyt tan and green that you saw in the test pix posted in this blog but there will be at least one other color scheme available as well. We will be showing the finished test model at the March meet.
ALSO, I was able to finish a model that has been around for a wile. The scale house is now available.
I'll post a pix

best laid plans

As some of you already know, The Clever bros did not get to Mad City. The intense cold and snow we had in Chicago kept us from recieving and installing some critical digital controles on our display layout. It was a tough decision, My brother worked several nights in the cold trying to get things ready but ultimately we had to decide weather or not to show a display that was not ready. It was really hard to not be at the show.
We did however go to the show just as visitors. Sad to say, The show itself was rather disapointing. there were plenty of people but the yayout and flow was chaotic at best. That this is billed as a major show is undeserved. It is certainly nothing compared to Trainfest in Milwaukee which was a great show and wile a bit larger in square footage (maybe) than the up comming March meet in Chicago, Madcity just didn't rate the hype. So it's on to March meet in just a couple of weeks. We WILL be there.
Sorry if we disapointed anyone who wanted to meet us in Madison. We promiss to do everything we can to be at every show we can from now on.

update on the oscale warehouse
Monday, February 12, 2007, 11:05 AM
As I had mentioned earlier, we had to stop selling the O scale warehouse because of a design problem. I'm very happy to say that the new design is being test built right now and early results are fabulous. We will be showing it on our module at Mad City. We ended up removing a floor from the warehouse and not only did it improve the build experience but It is a more pleasing building proportion. I never guessed that would be the case, but it is.

The design change does not effect any of the other scales. In fact, we added an extra floor to the N scale version.
I hope to get photos up in the next couple of days. I'll post a pic update from madcity so if you can't get to the show, you can still share the experience.

Our good friend John Kosma keeps us up to date with pix and his latest which is a variation on our furniture factory is an eye opener. I'll post a pic of that as well.
Talk soon.
