What fun

I know I haven't written lately, but we are just swamped. we have never had to buy materials by the case loads before but that's what we're doing now. We are also beginning to design for a couple of toy companies. Getting the N scale ready and trying to get the web page revamped. I think there might be too much on the plate but we'll get it cleaned up real nice.
Oh yeah... happy birthday to me !!!! I'm working.

Buckaroo Bonzi and the Shadow both had their cadrai(sp)of informants and helpers. we are calling on all the "Clever crew" to help us track an elusive locomotive.
After another web search which turned up such tangents as the "Silver cup spaceship", we have tracked a little farther into our elusive steeplecab. ther was an ho model distributed by a company named "flying zoo". weather or not they also made our O scale model is unknown. However we do have a definate ID. this 4 wheel steeplecab is a GE 17ton freight motor. It was apperantly electric but may have been converted to desiel electric at some point.
Help us track down the facts and recieve the first ever Clever models paper locomotive kit. Yes, we are recreating this model in paper.
what fun.
So, have you seen our elusive gem. Tell us what you know.

Wow, what fun. Trainfest is a railroad overload. I walked through the exibits a dozen times and still found new thing to see each time. Needless to say even though we were not there to sell and only had a small amount of samples to show, people responded to our kits in a very possitive way. I returned home to find the online order que full of orders for kits and textures. we get so many ideas at these shows and ofcourse we see a lot of the same people over and over. People constantly comming up and saying how they enjoyed the kit they bought at the last show or from one of our retail partners. Retailers who took a chance on us months ago coming up to say call us we want to reorder and new retail;ers who have heard the buzz and want to get aboard the Clever models train.
I have to give thanks to John and chris of the Gypsy trolly for their generosity. They supplied us with a lot of space for us to use and plenty of warmth and friendship. a nicer couple you could never meet.
John is quite a prankster as well as a master modeler. I'd go into details but I don't know how to discribe them. In a huge room full of at least 40 operating layouts the compact Gypsy trolly was packing them in two deep for most of the show. (I'll post some pix soon)
we'll, back to work. orders to fill and calls to make.
